techVSabuse workshop | London

Chayn and Snook are hosting a workshop to explore how technology could be harmful and/or helpful to women experiencing domestic abuse. This workshop invites everyone who identifies as a woman, is above 18 years old and who is experiencing or has experienced domestic abuse.

During the workshop, we will have informal chat about how we can design technology in a positive way that helps protect women against abusive relationships - for example, snooping and privacy settings. We will work together in small groups to come up and develop creative ideas.

When: Thursday, 29th September, 12pm – 4pm

Where: Newspeak House, 133 Bethnal Green Rd, London E2 7DG

Bring your fabulous enthusiasm and we’ll take care of your travel expenses of up to £15 and provide lunch, hot drinks & nibbles!
